My interest in ceramics and photography is often overlapping. Objects of interest to me sometimes come from random fallen leaves or layering of mountain range upon mountain range. A blending of glaze over textured clay gives controlled random color. A clay surface becomes a focus for flat abstract photograph. Leaf or flower structure becomes inspiration for ceramic texture.
Finding the art is my goal.

A litttle photo work
I haven't posted any photography work lately, so... A little shot I did of a wall of brick with vines and accented the textures, of course, in Photoshop.
Love the vine, looks like Ficus pumila. I used to use photoshop, but lately I have been using Microsoft Digital Image Suite.
ReplyDeleteI'll take your word for it. It is a vine to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm a mac guy and dont use microsoft much. How does it compare with PS?
